COVID-19 Policy

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic with increase in numbers, the Library is operating at 50% capacity with restrictions. Masks and hand sanitizer are mandatory while visiting. Both are provided at no charge to all patrons. Social distancing is also highly encouraged at this time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Carnegie Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a Zoom Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted. The meetings are open to the public.

Regular Cleaning & Sanitation

All high touch areas are sanitized regularly throughout the day, including computer keyboards, mouse, chairs, reading tables, and door handles. Our “Book Sanitizer for Libraries” machine has been a wonderful addition to our COVID-19 policy. This machine sanitizes books, laptops, tablets, cell phones, DVDs, CDs, Wi-Fi hotspots, & more.
